needed to take control of his own destiny. He went running out of the room, escaping from the army, and the possibility of death. Catch-22 is probably the best book I have read. It is witty, cynical, and shows the true human nature when faced with life or death situations. While towards then end the book does begin to drag on the rest of it is filled with the most interesting characters, problems, and actions.
