position. Coca-Cola has much more experience in the soft drink industry than Pepsi. Coca-Cola was invented in 1886, where as Pepsi came along in 1895. Things have been changing recently changing as Pepsi wants to stand out and wants to be seen totally different to Coca-Cola. However most people may have already established the image Coca-Cola in their minds which may be difficult to change.
