As it stands, campaign finance is moderately regulated, yet these regulations are rife with loopholes that allow anyone with sufficient know how and resources to unfairly influence an election. They could still voice their opinions; their freedom of speech would not be compromised; the corrupt influence of this speech would be the only thing taken away. While no campaign finance system can ever be perfect, the current one certainly has need for improvement. Hopefully, the above suggestions are not just a step in the right direction, but a path to a political equality.
