Book Report: Jon White's "Everyday Life in Ancient Egypt" <Tab/>World Book's encyclopedia refers to Ancient Egypt as the birthplace of one of the world's first civilizations. Jon White very well illustrates Ancient Egyptian life and while doing so is sure to include much detail and point of view. …showed last 75 words of 1183 total…that white made several inferences throughout the book and it did not always seem as if he had gone out of his way enough to prove all of them accurate and positive. Many of them were personal analysis and interpretation, which could not all be used as substantial information. By and large, "Everyday Life in Ancient Egypt" was an interesting book, and I would recommend it to for the classroom and/or simply pleasure reading.
