Blooming Population The nations of Latin America faced many challenges during the postwar period. Rapid industrialization brought new wealth to the region, but the population was sharply divided into groups of very rich and very poor. It removes all quotas, tariffs, and other barriers to unrestricted trade between the two countries. Until now, U.S. continues supporting Latin America. Even though much of its military aid has a little effect on economic development, United States still believe that only a healthy Latin America can pay its debts, care for its people, solve international problems of drugs and mass emigration.
