Arranged Marriages are marriages in which are organized and arranged through family and friends of either the woman or the man of the marriage. Freedom of choice was not something that some Japanese immigrants in America had during the early 1900's, and they would have to handle the outlawing of Japanese marriages with whites, restrictions on Asian immigration, The harsh truths of racism in the American society and handling of arranged marriages all at the same time.
