The Second World War Americans in the 1930 did not want anything to do with the war going on over seas. This was partially due to the first World War. The first bomb was dropped on August 6 at Hiroshima which killed at least eighty thousand people and poisoned countless other with radiation. The Japanese still not willing to give up received another bomb on August 9th that took another forty thousand lives. Japan surrendered formally on September 2.
