Dear Congressmen, Today on Monday August 6, 1787 we finally settled on the first draft of the Constitution. This was a big step, because Northern colonies couldn't agree with with these new set of laws we are providing as a basis for the United States. After fighting this war for independence it seems more than appropriate than to set a foundation for these states to live by.
