dream deferred?? appears to be answered with nothing but more questions. The dream is important to the dreamer?s life. But what dream is it exactly? The poem does not choose the dream but leaves it up to the reader through the author?s vivid descriptions. The use of all of the literary features provide the reader with an understanding of how unique and important dreams are, and show that they are worth fighting for.
