In conclusion, the impact that the Europeans had on the New World was in all respects negative. It is a bad thing that the Europeans prevailed over the sacred cultures of the Native Americans. While the Americas gave prosperity to the Old World, they, in turn, were rewarded with death and ruins. When Columbus made that fateful landing upon the Bahamas he extinguished a culture.
