People have disapproved of anything different from them for as long as we can remember. From the Salem witch hunts to the civil rights movement of the 1960's we have grudgingly made pushes toward equality. Our nation as a whole is moving toward Thomas Jefferson's all too eloquent statement, "all men are created equal." Another possible solution would be to have stiffer laws enacted against businesses who prefer to hire a specific race or group in spite of the others, i.e. Asian people or white men.
